I began taking pictures in the early 2000s after bout my first point and shoot camera. Documenting my daily life as newly independent young adult living alone, exploring and navigating life on my own terms was made easy with my digital pocket-sized memory collector. I knew I enjoyed the moments of interest and instinctively knew when to press the shutter button. It would be years before my pursuit of photography as career pathway began. Many of the single images you see here are representative of larger bodies of work.
